    You’ll still need to survey your residents to understand your demographic and provide building specific information for the strategy.

  • Measuring participation is a requirement of the Act and ItBox does this for you. Our reporting feature allows you to see who is engaging and what they are engaging with.

  • ItBox provides informative videos on the Building Safety Act 2022 so that residents understand their own duties and new legislation.

    We answer the most frequently asked questions from residents to cut down on your time answering queries.

  • Key building information is shared with residents in an engaging way. You can upload safety documentation for your building so that residents have access to these, instead of requesting them directly from you.

  • Residents can easily raise safety concerns and complaints, which helps you to understand and respond to their concerns, as part of your resident engagement strategy. This helps to build trust with your occupiers.

    ItBox teaches residents the differences between safety concerns and complaints, so that you don’t unnecessarily receive complaints.

  • ItBox’s notice board feature allows you to display consultations on building safety decisions - a requirement under the Act.

    The notice board allows you keep residents informed and participate in consultations.

  • As part of your resident engagement strategy, you must understand the demographic of residents and communicate accordingly.

    Where there are non-English speakers, you can communicate with them via ItBox as it is available in more than 15 languages:

    English, French, Polish, Welsh, Hindi, Spanish, Gujurati, Arabic, Romanian, Panjabi, Urdu, Portuguese, Bengali, Italian, Chinese Mandarin and Russian

  • As part of the sign up process for residents, they’ll be asked whether they have any individual needs, allowing you to make suitable arrangements. This includes personal emergency evacuation plans and communication preferences.
